Mac currency converter in the menu bar
Type 100 usd to eur in the menu bar and get a live rate without a website. Rates come from European Central Bank reference data and stay cached for 24 hours so recent conversions still work offline.

How it works
No account. No browser tab. The same panel also handles units, time zones, tips, and percentages when you need them.
ConvertIt is free on the Mac App Store and as a direct download. Conversions run on your Mac; currency only needs the network to refresh rates.
